In memory of all the many, beautiful souls who once populated the land of Bosnia and Herzegovina
FOR MY MEMORY BOX 2011
My heart is heavier tonight, anticipating the sorrow that ‘Remembrance’ of the abject suffering of so many and for so little………………………or was it really for seemingly so little? Such bestial violence (and the tremendous complicity of some) MUST be ‘Remembered’. To ‘forget’ would render those terrible losses a cruelty beyond belief. The professional work of IRGC has become a beacon of hope for Bosnia’s long-suffering survivors - a catalyst for positive change.
Until Bosnia has laid ALL her dead to rest peacefully and with dignity, and until Bosnia has reclaimed ALL her land - real, sustainable, healing peace will merely ‘flutter’ as butterflies do - short-lived and incomplete.
Unification of a ‘fragmented’ people will naturally take time and tremendous effort, but with concerted and sustained struggles, in tandem with the best quality investment in today’s and tomorrow’s young people - changes for the better are capable of being achieved - when yearned for by the majority.
The Institute for Research into Genocide, Canada will pursue, to the very best of their ability, every possible lawful avenue to maintain and sustain all such efforts which, individually and collectively, aim to achieve the many strands of humane justice, deserved by all victims and survivors alike.
IRGC is ‘a work in progress’, researching that which may, one day, produce (together with other, similar organizations) the solutions and an end time to acts of genocide everywhere.
In memory of all the many, beautiful souls who once populated the land of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
May we all earn the strength and fortitude to continue to do all that is correct in order to encourage just, sustainable solutions in what has become generally a particularly aggressive and violent human race..
In Peace
